No solo se ven las naranjas maduras colgando de los \u00e1rboles, tambi\u00e9n se pueden oler. El cielo es azul, los \u00e1rboles y la hierba son verdes, y las naranjas cuelgan como peque\u00f1as linternas en los \u00e1rboles. Hace sol, pero hace bastante fresco: tambi\u00e9n en Sicilia es invierno.<\/p>\n<p>Es justo el momento adecuado para que maduren las naranjas sanguinas. Solo con la combinaci\u00f3n de d\u00edas c\u00e1lidos y noches fr\u00edas se puede formar antocianina, el pigmento que ti\u00f1e de rojo la pulpa. As\u00ed que, si las noches son demasiado c\u00e1lidas, el pigmento no se forma y tu naranja sanguina quiz\u00e1 sea m\u00e1s naranja que rojo sangre, pero, por supuesto, igual de deliciosa.<\/p>\n<p>Danilo cultiva dos variedades distintas: <em>Moro<\/em>, algo m\u00e1s \u00e1cida y con una pulpa de rojo intenso (\u00a1si hace suficiente fr\u00edo!), y <em>Tarocco<\/em>, algo m\u00e1s dulce y muy suave. Es un poco como la infancia, cuando abres un huevo sorpresa: por fuera no puedes saber si la fruta ser\u00e1 roja o m\u00e1s bien naranja.<\/p>\n<p>Ante periodos de sequ\u00eda cada vez m\u00e1s frecuentes, Danilo apuesta por una cobertura permanente del suelo.
