Una vez al a\u00f1o, el primer domingo de septiembre, Manuela abre las puertas de la granja a todos los CrowdFarmers que han adoptado una cabra con ella. <\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">Las cabras se orde\u00f1an dos veces al d\u00eda para procesar la leche cruda directamente en el lugar y convertirla en queso. Como la leche no se pasteuriza en este proceso, la producci\u00f3n est\u00e1 sujeta a los controles m\u00e1s estrictos, ya que se conserva la actividad bacteriana natural de la leche cruda. En los a\u00f1os 90, la agricultora decidi\u00f3 construir su propia queser\u00eda en la explotaci\u00f3n para poder controlar cada paso de la elaboraci\u00f3n del queso; solo as\u00ed puede garantizar una calidad especialmente alta.  <\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"6\">Entender la naturaleza de la cabra<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">Manuela destaca que, a diferencia de la ganader\u00eda habitual que en los a\u00f1os 90 se centraba principalmente en el ganado vacuno, ella opt\u00f3 por la cr\u00eda de cabras. \u00abLas cabras eran las vacas de los campesinos pobres\u00bb, nos cuenta. El aspecto especialmente interesante aqu\u00ed es que las cabras, a diferencia de las ovejas, eran originarias de regiones monta\u00f1osas y no est\u00e1n hechas para pastar en prados verdes y jugosos. Su delicado sistema digestivo no est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para grandes cantidades de forraje verde fresco.   <\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">Para adaptarse a su biolog\u00eda, Manuela ha desarrollado un concepto especial: los animales viven en un establo amplio y aireado con una zona de ejercicio directamente adyacente. As\u00ed, las cabras disfrutan de mucho movimiento y aire fresco, mientras que su alimentaci\u00f3n se controla con precisi\u00f3n y se adapta a sus necesidades. <\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\">Nuestra visita coincidi\u00f3 exactamente con la \u00e9poca de apareamiento a finales de verano. Aqu\u00ed Manuela apuesta completamente por la monta natural: el macho corteja a la cabra, y la hembra decide en \u00faltima instancia sobre el apareamiento. Este es un buen ejemplo del trato respetuoso con los animales en la granja.  <\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\">La ubicaci\u00f3n de la granja en una zona volc\u00e1nica inactiva es una verdadera ventaja. Los suelos ricos en minerales de Eifel ofrecen la base ideal para un forraje especialmente nutritivo. Que la explotaci\u00f3n sigue innovando lo demuestra tambi\u00e9n la nueva bodega abovedada: a\u00fan en construcci\u00f3n, pronto ofrecer\u00e1 el clima perfecto en el que las ruedas de queso podr\u00e1n madurar hasta su perfecci\u00f3n.  <\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"12\">Una experiencia culinaria<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">Ninguna visita a Vulkanhof estar\u00eda completa sin una degustaci\u00f3n.
