Their farm
Den Hof Mettenborg gibt es an seinem Standort schon seit über 100 Jahren. Im Jahr 2013 sind wir aus der Rinder- und Schweinezucht ausgestiegen und haben uns auf die Legehennenhaltung spezialisiert. Wir arbeiten konventionell und nachhaltig, in dem wir unsere Legehennen in mobilen Hühnerställen halten. Die Tiere leben in kleinen Gruppen und der gesamte Stall zieht regelmäßig auf neues Grünland. So kann sich die Grasnarbe schnell erholen und der Dünger von den Pflanzen aufgenommen werden.
Durch die gesunde Haltung können wir auf Antibiotika verzichten.
