Ich halte meine 20 Bienenvölker im Nebenerwerb an zwei Standorten: Bad Honnef-Rhöndorf, am Fuße des Drachenfels und Swisttal-Buschhoven im Kottenforst.
Der aus Rhöndorf stammende Honig ist aufgrund der Landschaft städtisch und Wald geprägt. Der Swisttaler Honig entstammt einem landwirtschaftlich genutztem Gebiet, so dass hier beliebte cremige Rapshonig geerntet werden kann.
